Multi-media group, Scottish Radio Holdings (SRH), has said that an ‘excellent’ performance in radio and press has fuelled 2004 expectations and the group now predicts full-year revenues to be a healthy 9% ahead of last year.
Press revenue from its 45 local weekly newspapers is estimated to have grown by 9% over the year, with advertising and circulation revenues increasing by 9% and 6% respectively.
Chief executive, Richard Findlay said: “SRH is well-placed with its market-leading local radio companies, expanding regional radio portfolio and popular weekly press titles, to continues to develop the group both organically and by acquisition. The board, therefore, views the immediate and long-term future with confidence.”
