Stewart Easterbrook joins Medialab as Chairman

Independent media agency Medialab has announced that Stewart Easterbrook will be joining its board as chairman this month.

Easterbrook is also currently chairman at MiQ (formerly Media iQ), though he is widely known for his five-year stint as CEO at Starcom MediaVest Group UK.

Speaking to Mediatel, Easterbrook said he is “hugely excited” to join Medialab at a time when clients are increasingly interested in talking to independent, “more agile” businesses, that can offer more transparency and bespoke data-driven approaches.

“Not everyone else out there is in the position to offer that kind of flexibility,” he added.

Medialab – whose clients include Royal British Legion, N Brown Group and The Spectator – has also made a number of other senior hires this year, including Steven Venes from John Ayling and Tony Oakley from MC&C.

“This plethora of senior hires demonstrates our commitment to continually provide the best in market offering, and the most cost-effective solutions for our clients,” added Marcus Orme, Medialab CEO.
