Strong Companies Will Survive Share Price Drops

A new survey by Landor has established that the performance of a company’s stock price does not necessarily impact on the public perception of that company.

Landor questioned over 11,000 internet users in 10 countries and asked them to rank seven aspects of technology companies in terms of positive or negative impact on brand strength. Other elements considered included corporate reputation, brand recognition, advertising, online presence and CEO reputation/personality. Almost all those questioned ranked share price performance last or second to last.

These findings are part of the Landor Global ImagePower Survey which surveyed audiences in the US, UK, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico and Spain.
