The Sunday Times is claiming a 76% sales increase in the Republic of Ireland for the past couple of weeks, as well as a rise of 23% in Northern Ireland, going from 60,000 to 93,000. Andrew Neil is accrediting the increase to recent attempts by the paper to increase its Irish coverage.
Meanwhile, reports in yesterday’s paper claim sales of 1.29m copies for the past two weeks, allegedly over 200,000 more than the combined circulation of its two nearest rivals.
The paper’s ABC for February was 1,253,077.
