Irish newspaper The Sunday Tribune will be changing its current broadsheet format, and reverting back to its original tabloid format.
The paper was launched as a tabloid in 1980, but changed to a broadsheet format after the first year.
The change back to tabloid format will take place from September.
The title, controlled by Independent News & Media (IN&M), has recently suffered a fall in circulation, and it is hoped that this change will attract new readers.
In the six months to the end of June 2010, the average circulation was 54,400 – a fall of 9.85% from the first half – according to the latest ABC figures.
By comparison, rival title The Sunday Times, owned by News International, has a weekly circulation of 112,000 in Ireland.
The largest circulating newspaper published solely in Ireland is currently The Sunday World, with circulation of 267,130 in the last six month period.
