Car insurance firm Swiftcover.com is sponsoring Absolute Radio’s weekend schedule for three months from Friday 13 March.
The Swiftcover.com sponsorship, featuring on-air pre-recorded credits across the whole weekend, is part of the ‘Get a Life’ campaign, fronted by Iggy Pop.
Trails for the shows will air on Monday and Tuesday, as Swiftcover says that this is when “people actually click online to buy their insurance”.
The on-air campaign will be supported by a fully integrated online campaign, with a Swiftcover.com sponsorship presence on all relevant show pages as well as on a specially created microsite.
Absolute Radio will also include Swiftcover.com in newsletters to its 500,000 VIPs and create relevant online competitions.
Louise Reeves, Absolute’s head of sponsorship, negotiated the deal with Tom Drummond, head of radio at Initiative.
