Telegraph Holds Key To Europe With Property Supplement

The Sunday Telegraph has announced its latest specialist supplement with a guide to overseas property entitled France and Spain Unlocked.

The latest move will see the 32-page property guide published with the newspaper from April 18th, promoted by a 30 second TV campaign, airing between April 14 and 17, created by Clemmow Hornby Inge.

The supplement promises readers features on Spain, including buying property in Madrid and Barcelona, house hunting on the internet as well as living and working in Spain. The French section of the supplement covers renovating farmhouses, lock up and leave new developments, snow homes and gîtes.

Commenting on the launch, Anne Cuthbertson, the Sunday Telegraph‘s house and home editor said: “Our readers have always enjoyed holidaying in France and Spain and now more and more of them are considering buying property there. This guide will give readers a flavour for destinations off the beaten track as well as tips and guidance on avoiding the pitfalls of buying property overseas.”

The supplement is the latest in a line of inserts featured by the newspaper concentrating on high-brow pastimes and offering detailed how-to guides. Earlier this month the paper announced a spate of specialist golf supplements designed to commemorate the US Masters, Ryder Cup and The Open golf tournaments (see Telegraph Gets Into Swing With Golf Supplements).

The Telegraph has also invested heavily in advertising, partnering both Caesar dog food and London taxis in recent months, using print, outdoor and TV advertising to extend its reach to specific readerships (see Telegraph Hails Start Of Taxi Advertising Campaign).
