Telegraph Profits

The Telegraph newspaper group has today reported an increase of pre-tax profits of 35.9%, up from £44.3m to £60.2m for 1993. The chairman said the group as a whole is gradually assuming a more international character with almost 20% of pre-tax profts now arising from interests outside the UK. Advertising revenues in Britain were up 8%.
