Telegraph Sells Trinity Stake

The Daily Telegraph has sold its 13% stake in Trinity International, publisher of the Liverpool Echo and Post, for £26.8m. The share was not bought by one investor but split among a range of UK institutional shareholders.

The Telegraph is now buying half of the 22.6% stake in Southam, the Canadian newspaper group, acquired recently by Conrad Black’s Hollinger Group.
