Telmar has launched a new web-based search tool for its subscribers, which will enable media companies to search their research data more efficiently, according to the company.
The search and analysis tool has been named ReSearch Guru by the US-owned media software supplier.
The tool has been designed to export search results in seconds into Excel and Powerpoint, making the results more accessible to non-researchers.
Ultimately, Telmar hopes it will “allow clients to make quicker and better-informed planning decisions” and help planners to “get greater value out of their investment in research data”.
Stan Federman, Telmar’s chairman and CEO, said: “The beauty of ReSearch Guru is that it allows someone other than a highly trained media or marketing research specialist to track down and analyse relevant media information.”
He added: “As media planning’s role within the advertising process has gained in prominence, it’s important to expand access to media analysis beyond just the media community.”
