The IAA’s Karen Carter joins Article 10 as managing director

Integrated marketing agency Article 10 has appointed Karen Carter, chair of the International Advertising Association (IAA) UK Chapter, as its new managing director.

Carter has chaired the IAA UK Chapter since 2017, prior to which she served as both president of the UK Chapter and global vice president, young professionals.

She joins from her position as VP of sales and marketing at Adepto and, under her guidance, Article 10 will be rebranding with a new identity.

“My background as a marketer places me in a unique position to offer additional expertise and insight that will further enhance the brilliant work that Article 10 delivers to its clients,” Carter said.

“It’s also exciting to return to my agency roots and I look forward to the challenge of leading such a fast-expanding business.”

Also joining Article 10 is chief commercial officer Paul Maraviglia, who previously worked at marketing technology firm MaxPoint as general manager EMEA.

Commenting on the appointments, Keith Ducatel, owner and founder of Article 10, said: “Bringing a wealth of industry experience and expertise, our two new directors are exactly what Article 10 needs to continue delivering excellence to clients and sustain its rapid growth.”
