thelondonpaper Sees Circulation Decline In August

Man Reading A Paper thelondonpaper remained ahead of the London Lite in August, although it suffered a month on month decline of just over 54,500 copies.

Its total circulation now stands at around 495,900 copies, whilst the London Lite has a circulation of almost 406,300 after an increase of over 5,700 copies month on month.

The evening paid-for title Evening Standard was up by around 1% month on month, taking its total to around 277,500.

The morning freesheet Metro enjoyed a healthy increase of almost 46,400 copies month on month, to give it a total of nearly 547,000, whilst the business freesheet City AM was down by more than 11,600 copies month on month, leaving its total circulation at almost 81,700.
