Kirstie Allsop Last night saw the return of Kirstie and Phil to Channel 4 with Location, Location, Location. The show did wonderfully, picking up a peak audience of 4.5 million viewers (a 23.6% viewing share) in its 8pm slot.

This week, our dishy duo were in Glasgow, where property prices have risen an amazing 42% in the past four years.

However, over on ITV1 at the same time, The Bill managed to grab a peak audience of 5.5 million adults, some of whom would have seen the indefatigable Jack Meadows get bashed in the nuts by a thug with a baseball bat.

On ITV1 at 9pm was Cold Blood, the thrilling murder mystery starring John Hannah. The show had a peak of 4.5 million adults (a 23.6% viewing share).

It was up against Britain’s Most Wanted Paedophiles on BBC One. The programme, which saw investigative reporter Mark Daley track down dangerous sex offenders, had a peak audience of 2.5 million adults (a 12.8% viewing share).
