Digital marketing company ValueClick has secured the contract to provide advertising sales for free-ads website Loot.com.
The deal will see ValueClick manage the sale of Loot.com’s entire advertising inventory, whilst working to increase revenue generated by the site. The company’s media sales arm will sell advertising space on Loot.com to its existing client base of advertisers using a variety of pricing options, including cost-per-impression, cost-per-lead and cost-per-click.
Commenting on the deal, Sarah Escott, European sales director at ValueClick, said: “Loot.com is a powerful medium that reaches a broad cross-section of the UK’s online population. Through offering a mixture of pricing metrics, ValueClick will enable advertisers to buy campaigns that are more effective.”
Mark Robson, Head of interactive at Loot, added: “By partnering with ValueClick we believe that we will maximise our opportunities and continue to grow our advertising revenue.”
ValueClick recently merged its business with interactive ad-technology firm Be Free, bringing together both companies’ online and offline technology and media services to create a new global organisation under the ValueClick brand (see ValueClick Merges With Be Free).
