A repeat of BBC One’s cold case forensic drama, Waking The Dead, won the 9pm to 10pm timeslot last night, with more than 3.2 million adults on average tuning in to the show, giving the channel a 15.8% viewing share at the time.
Meanwhile, a little short of three million on average tuned in to Big Brother‘s nominations night, which inevitably revealed loudmouthed aggressor Charley and her raver cohort Tracey to have the most votes.
The programme gave Channel 4 a 14.5% audience share, whilst the exploration of the wild west coast of Ireland in Coast gave BBC Two a 14% share, with a little short of 2.9 million adult viewers on avenge.
Another branch of Brand Beckham, this time a one-off documentary about David’s journey from Spain to LA, was screened on ITV1 at 9pm.
Whilst Posh’s programme last week gained an average adult audience of 3.2 million (see Posh Documentary Beaten By BBC One Repeat), Vicks’ hubby’s effort interested over 2.8 million (13.9%).
Over on Five, CSI: Miami lured around 2.6 million adult viewers on average (12.7%).
Earlier, the fallout from sinister Stella’s death and the arrival of two more Mitchells in EastEnders drew almost seven million to BBC One at 7.30pm, a 42.9% audience share.
Following on from the complicated lives of Albert Square’s residents, Holby City on BBC One saw Lord Byrne suffer a stroke, revealing Jac’s intent to Joseph. More than 5.3 million (29.6%) joined the medical series, which also saw a dominatrix lodge her Jimmy Choo into an unsuspecting patient’s chest.
