Yahoo! has released its Livestand tablet app and is looking for advertisers to pay up to $500,000 for packages around its new interactive video ad unit.
Yahoo! is thought to be pitching to potential launch partners on an advertising package that will run through to next year.
Livestand, a digital newsstand app, has been compared to rival products such as Flipboard and Pulse.
Yahoo! is reportedly planning to encourage existing users of other Yahoo! mobile apps to download the service. It will feature a magazine-style layout, with content from other publications.
