Second screen social TV start-up Zeebox has started its assault on the US market by poaching Time Warner Cable Media SVP Jason Forbes.
Forbes will head up the US operation as it goes into direct competition with the likes of GetGlue and Yahoo’s IntoNow.
Ernesto Schmitt, CEO of zeebox said: “We’re delighted to have Jason join the zeebox team. As EVP USA, Jason will apply his operational experience and strategic insight to supporting our launch in the US market.”
