6.1m Watch ITV1’s Honest

Last night saw ITV1’s new comedy-drama Honest hit our screens, with a peak of 6.1 million adults tuning in to catch the action.

The show, starring Amanda Redman, grabbed an average of 5.6 million adult viewers (a 23.8% share of the audience) in its 9pm timeslot.

It easily beat Hugh’s Chicken Run on Channel 4 at the same time, which could only pick up a peak of 3.3 million adults (a 14% share).

It was the last in the run for Hugh’s show, which attempted to turn an entire village onto free range chicken in just a matter of days.

Hugh was not entirely successful but he did his best, and 3.2 million adult viewers stuck with last night’s finale throughout its hour long running time.

Over on BBC One at the same time was a repeat of The Vicar Of Dibley, which had a peak of 4.3 million adults (an 18.3% share).
