September was a strong month for commercial broadcasters, with revenues up across the board.
A 22.5% year on year boost in revenue saw Channel 4 hit £55.5 million – up by more than £10 million compared with September 2014.
Perhaps thanks to the Rugby World Cup, ITV was up 14.8% year on year from £123.5 million to a little under £142 million.
Meanwhile, Channel 5 was up a slightly less impressive 1.5%, while ITV Breakfast was up 1.2%.
Overall, total terrestrial revenue (including ITV Breakfast) was up 14.7% year on year, while total satellite was up an equally solid 13.7%.
