The festive period was good to the majority of commercial broadcasters, with Channel 4 and ITV 1 reporting solid revenue increases.
Up 19.2%, C4 revenue closed in on the £51 million mark in December, while a 5.5% increase took ITV revenue to £124.6 million.
Not such good news for Channel 5, however, with a -7.9% decrease in yearly revenue taking the broadcaster from £21.8 million in December 2014 to £20.1 million in December 2015.
Meanwhile, there was little change for ITV Breakfast which reported an insignificant -0.5% loss, dropping £200,000 to a little over £4.1 million.
Strong results from C4 and C5 meant that total terrestrial revenue (including ITV Breakfast) was up 6.9% in December, while total satellite was up an impressive 15.5%.
