TV market round-up: May 2018

May was a solid month for commercial broadcasters, with a series of revenues boosts, according to the latest agency estimates.

ITV Breakfast was up almost 11% to more than £5m, while ITV was up almost 2% to 111.6m.

Channel 4 also performed well, and boosted revenues by almost £4m to £53m – an 8% rise. Meanwhile, Total Satellite revenues were up 5.4% to more than £195m.
