TV market round-up: April 2019

Following a string of disappointing results in March, television revenues – as estimated by UK media agencies – performed much better in April.

Channel 4 had a good month, up 19% year-on-year to £52.2m – the best performance of the market in terms of growth.

Meanwhile, ITV, the largest of the broadcasters, was up just over 11%, taking its revenues to almost £115m. ITV Breakfast, meanwhile, was up just 0.7% to just over £4.6m.

Elsewhere, Total Satellite was up 4.4% to almost £193m.
