HomeChoice Relaunches Website To Clarify Offering

HomeChoice Set Top Box Video Networks (VNL) has launched the newly designed website for its HomeChoice entertainment service, giving the brand a greater focus on customer experience and communicating more clearly the service’s advantages over rivals.

The website, which launches today, marks the first of a two-stage development process for the brand, with the new site featuring a sleek, simple design enabling potential customers to navigate to the information they require.

Built entirely in-house by VNL’s web, design and development teams, the site’s key developments include the creation of “content zones” and a left hand menu to make navigation quick and simple, a consistent layout to ensure users are familiar with different sections and further information on the more unique, innovative and exciting areas of the HomeChoice service.

Vicky Mitchell, director of marketing for Video Networks, said: “HomeChoice offers an extensive range of services within a variety of packages. One of the key challenges the company faces in marketing its products is communicating the sheer breadth of services available. The new site has been designed to make it easier for customers to surf the site, choose the most appropriate package for them and make a fully informed purchasing decision.”

The second phase of the website’s re-design will follow later in the year, building on improvements to the customer experience completed in phase one by focusing on enhancing the website’s e-commerce platform.

HomeChoice announced a massive expansion of its service area earlier this year, doubling the number of households in London able to receive its on-demand television and high-speed internet service, after revealing a 15,000 increase in its subscription base (see HomeChoice To Double Coverage With Expansion).

The company has also maintained a high-profile marketing assault on the capital in order to attract new customers. The £2 million marketing campaign, launched last September, is designed to dominate London’s outdoor, print and radio media to boost the firm’s subscriber base (see HomeChoice Unveils Campaign To Dominate London’s Media).
