Changing Media Summit To Focus On New Trends

Changing Media Summit Logo Next week’s MediaGuardian Changing Media Summit tackles convergence and personalisation and promotes blogging to a major media platform.

The latter arrives in the form of an afternoon session, boasting a panel containing the CEO of the IAB, the Guardian’s own director of digital publishing – and a bespoke Saville Row tailor!

The convergence session should also afford an opportunity for an update on the Arqiva mobile media trials, and personalisation ponders whether “generation iPod” will “change broadcast forever.”

Other panellists and speakers include Fru Hazlitt of Virgin Radio, Nick Higham, BBC News correspondent; Jon Snow from Channel 4 News and Steve Bowbrick, one of the original dot-com gurus and now founder of another.com.

The event takes place on Monday March 27 at Victoria Park Plaza, London. Full details are available at MediaGuardian.co.uk/changingmediasummit, via email to changingmediasummit@choicegroup.co.uk or phone, on 0870 765 7488.
