Stars In Their Eyes Logo ITV enjoyed a strong turnout for the live final of Stars In Their Eyes Kids, with the first half of the two part show attracting an average adult audience of 4.6 million, rising to 5.1 million for the second half results show.

The broadcaster kept a solid audience throughout the night, with an average adult audience of 4.7 million watching All New It’ll Be Alright On The Night, dropping slightly to 3.5 million for Parkinson.

Elsewhere, BBC1’s programming beat ITV’s throughout the evening, with an average adult audience of 5.7 million tuning in to watch the final England match in the Rugby Six Nations. Casualty attracted an audience of just over seven million, while New Tricks enjoyed an average of 4.7 million viewers.

BBC2 enjoyed a steady audience for the Commonwealth Games, with an average of 1.8 million adults watching the 7.30 programme, dropping to 1.164 million for the 9.00 show.

Meanwhile, Channel Four achieved an average adult audience of 1.6 million for the terrestrial premiere of 20 Days Later, while Five attracted 2.5 million adults for CSI:NY.
