Emap2 To Fuel Creativity Through Ad Seminars

Emap Logo Emap Advertising’s full marketing communications service, Emap2, is to foster insight into effective marketing activity with its first creative exhibition and seminar this month.

The Art of Engagement event is to be held on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th of March at The Music Room, London W1, with Marcus Rich, MD of Emap Advertising hoping to “demonstrate our commitment to share our insight into creating effective and engaging marketing communications.”

The event is intended for marketing directors, strategic planners and creative agencies, and will deliver an “inspirational, interactive and practical programme” for Emap2 customers.

The event’s first day will see a focus on effective engagement with consumers, with speakers including John Grant, author of New Marketing Manifesto and co-founder of St Luke’s, who will give his predictions on how marketing campaigns may evolve to interact with consumers in 10 years time.

Susie Moore, head of brand and marketing communications at O2, will also be in attendence, explaining how integrated marketing solutions are more engaging and effective.

Emap’s most successful editors and programmers will also give insight into evolving consumer trends, with David Pullan, MD of FHM Worldwide; Mark Story, MD of Programming; Fiona McIntosh, editor in chief of Women’s Lifestyle Magazines; Anthony Noguera, editor in chief of Arena and Zoo; Dave Young, programme director of Emap TV and Mike Burgess, wireless editor of Emap Interactive all sharing the stage for a debate on deepening relationships with consumers.

Running concurrently, the Art of Engagement Exhibition will offer delegates the opportunity to view creative contemporary campaigns, while the second day will see the exhibition offer three dedicated areas to engage with Emap’s research, editorial and creative teams.

Marcus Rich, MD of Emap Advertising, explained the events appeal, stating: “We are in a unique position to provide advertisers with a holistic approach to tackling their marketing communications dilemmas. This event aims to inform and inspire as well as demonstrate our commitment to exploring the future of effective and engaging marketing communications.”
