Trio Join Forces To Launch Independent Specialist Agency

Village Green Trio Jane Kesley, former Emap Advertising cross media director and founder of XmC, has teamed up with ex-Starcom Group and Starcom+ chiefs Andy Roberts and Adam Bishop to form Village Green, an independent specialist agency.

Village Green intends to deliver more effective brand solutions by engaging consumers through content. It will do this through a range of channels including; editorial & programming, events, sponsorships, promotions, licensing and ad-funded solutions, working across all platforms.

The three highly experienced media all-rounders have a first class track record within this sector and expect to see significant growth as clients seek new ways of engaging audiences.

Roberts has been in the media business for 28 years and as one of the UK’s leading media traders he was most recently responsible for Starcom Motive’s £359 million media portfolio before moving into international client management for such blue chip clients as Cadbury, Procter & Gamble and Oracle.

Bishop has been in the media business for 24 years. Having worked with Roberts for the last 16 years, largely in TV trading, Bishop became the first director of Starcom+ in 2005.

Kesley has been in the media publishing business for 22 years spanning national newspapers, magazines, broadcast, new media and events, specialising in the creation of branded content, sponsorship and promotions.

Village Green said: “We are a company that makes advertising content strategies happen. Strategies that effectively close the traditional space between advertising and editorial and seek to drive greater value through higher consumer engagement.

Village Green adds that it is positioned to be both a catalyst and enabler for clients, leading the process through idea generation, negotiation and implementation.
