New Ad Campaign For Magic 105.4 Music Quiz

Magic 105.4 Logo Emap’s Magic 105.4 has announced a six-figure advertising campaign to promote the return of its breakfast show music quiz, Music Is Money.

The first two weeks of the campaign will see a series of promotional bus sides and entrance paddles at underground stations to encourage London to tune into Magic for their chance to win.

Returning to the airwaves on April 10, the Music is Money competition will see lucky Magic listeners win £5,000 every day for three weeks.

Each weekday morning in the More Music Breakfast Show Neil Fox will talk to listeners on air asking them music related questions. He will keep going until £5,000 is won, guaranteeing a winner every morning.

Nicola Thomson, marketing director of Magic 105.4, said: “Music is Money is being brought back due to popular demand, our listeners just love it.

“The competition perfectly encompasses what Magic is all about, great music to listen to and great prizes to be won. The large scale promotional campaign is a great opportunity to remind listeners that Magic 105.4 delivers what they want.”

At the last RAJARs, Magic 105.4 saw its weekly reach grow from around 1.6 million in Q3 to just under 1.8 million in the fourth quarter, and had a 5.5% share of listening.

Heart 106.2 was the London’s favourite station, with a weekly reach of more than 1.8 million and a 7.1% share of listening.

The creative for the new campaign is by St Lukes with media planning being handled by Starcom.
