Aegis Group, the media communications and market research network, has acquired Market & More, a European market research company with operations in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and France.
Market & More provides full-service custom research to a blue-chip client base of major European and multinational FMCG companies, including Procter & Gamble, Interbrew and Danone Group.
Aegis will pay an initial E6.0 million in cash, with a further deferred payment subject to the business’ performance. Market & More had revenues of approximately E13.5 million during the year ended 31 December 2001.
The acquisition of Market & More extends Aegis Research’s international network to 42 countries and strengthens its position in the important European market, following the acquisitions of Pegram Walters, MEMRB Custom Research, Demoscopie and the Bureau for Internet and Telephone Interviewing in 2001 (see Aegis Builds Global Market Research Reach With French Acquisition).
