Internet Subscribers In India Will Reach 7.7 Million BY 2004
eMarketer reports that the number of internet subscribers in India is forecast to hit 7.7 million in 2004. The National Association of Software and Services Company (NASSCOM) predicts that there will be 50 million internet users in the country by 2004.
NASSCOM also notes that there will be roughly 1.5 million active subscribers in India by the end of fiscal year 2002 up from 1.1 million subscribers as of 31 March 2001.
