It’s been more than two years since OpenAI released ChatGPT, upending the potential use cases for incorporating AI into working practices. But many businesses still struggle to use AI efficiently and effectively in the day to day and run the risk of falling behind in a fast-developing field.

On Thursday 16 January, The Media Leader, in partnership with Salesforce, will host a webinar to unpack the future of AI in media and how AI agents could create substantial change to working practices across the industry.

What should media agencies, media owners and advertisers be doing to upskill and prepare for the future of work with generative AI? Which use cases have broadly been implemented and which are more complex to consider? How should you leverage data for use with AI?

What are AI agents, how are they being used now and how might they be used in the future? Are jobs at long-term risk?

All these questions and more will be answered in a discussion about whether generative AI truly offers the greatest business opportunity of our lifetime.

Senior reporter Jack Benjamin will be joined by Salesforce senior vice-president, market strategy, Ed Thompson; Salesforce regional vice-president, communications, media, entertainment and sport, Lauren McGuire; Havas chief data and product officer Laura Kell; and Amplifi & Impact founder Mark Breslin.

The one-hour talk, “Will AI Agents Reinvent Media and the Workplace?”, will take place at 11:00am on 16 January.
