Dawn Airey has announced that she is stepping down as chief executive of Channel 5 to join BSkyB as managing director of its Sky Networks division.
It had been widely expected that Airey would become ITV’s new director of channels following news of David Liddiment’s departure from the network. However, it has been confirmed that she has agreed to join BSkyB and will be responsible for overseeing all non-sports content across at Sky Networks.
