Bam Bam Joins Capital 95.8

Capital 95.8 has announced that Bam Bam will be joining the station to present a new weeknight show.

Bam Bam’s show will broadcast Monday to Friday from 7pm-10pm. Launching on Monday 12 March.

Capital 95.8’s programming director Scott Muller said: “Bam Bam is an absolutely exceptional and unique personality, and I’m incredibly excited he’s joining the Capital team.”

Speaking about his new show on Capital 95.8 Bam Bam said: “This is a move that I have quietly hoped for nearly three years. I’m joining a very impressive team at Capital 95.8 and I can’t wait to get back on the air in London – the worlds greatest radio battleground.

“I’ve spent a lot of time with Scott Muller and his grasp on radio is far superior to any other programmer I’ve ever worked with. I am very excited.”

Bam Bam joins an already strong week day line-up, broadcasting alongside Johnny Vaughan, James Cannon, Chris Brooks, Lucio Buffone and Tony Shepherd.

At the last RAJARs, Capital 95.8 saw its weekly reach fall almost 20% year on year, although it was up slightly from Q3 to Q4 (see Heart 106.2 FM Retains Top Spot In London). Magic 106.2 FM, the best performing London station, had a weekly reach of 1.7 million, compared to Capital 95.8’s 1.4 million.
