Connected Screens survey now offers year-on-year data

Wave 3 data from Mediatel’s Connected Screens survey was published today – offering year-on-year figures for the first time.

Connected Screens, launched in September 2014, aggregates the vast amount of consumer data available into a comprehensive hub – from screen usage, to exposure to advertising – and is currently the only research to track usage across screens from a media agnostic perspective.

Run in partnership with News UK and Ocean Outdoor, the survey aims to make sense of what people do across all the screens they use in their daily lives – including TV, PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones and digital outdoor.

Subscribers can now access four periods’ worth of data in Mediatel Connected, whilst a full written report will be published in the next few weeks.

“The digital landscape is shifting constantly, and so too are consumer behaviours, making device usage and media consumption habits increasingly difficult to track,” said Mediatel’s head of research & AV, Anne Tucker.

“With that in mind, the Connected Screens survey is both media-neutral and consumer-centric so those using it can reach the connected consumer in the most effective way.

“Gathered from a rolling study of approximately 2,000 adults in broadband homes aged 16+, the survey tracks emerging trends to anticipate new developments. It has quickly become an indispensable tool for the industry.”

The full report is now available to pre-order for just £250 – contact screens@mediatel.co.uk for more details.
