Egmont launches Toy Story magazine

Specialist children’s publisher Egmont is launching a Disney/Pixar Toy Story magazine, to coincide with the launch of the third film in the series.

The monthly magazine is on sale from the 21 July 2010, priced at £3.50, and joins other Egmont Disney titles including Disney & Me and Disney Fairies Tinkerbell.

The title is targeted at the core readership of 4-7 year old boys, with an initial print run of 100,000.

Each edition is 24 pages long, apart from the launch edition at 28 pages.

Alison David, commercial director of Egmont UK, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of the Toy Story magazine and are extremely proud to add such a loved and respected brand to our magazine portfolio.

“This publication is sure to be a hit as the children and their parents continue to seek new ways to engage with the story and characters, especially over the summer holiday period.”
