The delivery of email with attachments via mobile phones is considered one of the most promising applications for increasing operators’ productivity, according to a survey by mobile information company Telephia.
Instant messaging is also popular with business users (24%), but only 11% of decision makers are looking to introduce the service.
Another service called push-to-talk is also popular with users. Push-to-talk lets users connect directly to another phone at the push of a button, in a manner similar to a walkie-talkie. However, just 7% of decision makers are considering implementing this system.
