Email Attachments To Improve Mobile Productivity?

Email Attachments To Improve Mobile Productivity?

The delivery of email with attachments via mobile phones is considered one of the most promising applications for increasing operators’ productivity, according to a survey by mobile information company Telephia.

The survey of business users and key decision makers found that, across both groups, email attachments were viewed as one of the most likely services to improve productivity. A fifth (20%) of decision makers said that they are considering implementing the applications and 23% of business end users think it will enhance their productivity.

Instant messaging is also popular with business users (24%), but only 11% of decision makers are looking to introduce the service.

Another service called push-to-talk is also popular with users. Push-to-talk lets users connect directly to another phone at the push of a button, in a manner similar to a walkie-talkie. However, just 7% of decision makers are considering implementing this system.
