Facebook and m/SIX to talk trust and transparency at Future of Media Research

Metrics, trust and transparency are three of the hottest topics in media, and Mediatel will be discussing all three in detail at the Future of Media Research conference next Monday – the issues, the implications and how things can move forward positively.

Ian Edwards, head of comms planning at Facebook; David Grainger, chief strategy officer, m/SIX; Brian Jacobs, industry commentator and ex-ad man, and Richard Marks, research director, asi will form one of the day’s most interesting panels where themes will include:

– What has happened to trust and transparency?
– How do we define consumer contact? Is a TV rating the same as an online view?
– Long termism v short termism: is there too much focus on real time return on investment and not enough focus on value of insight and brand building through research?
– Has media research avoided the pitfalls of political polling where people say one thing and do something else?

Date: Monday 13 March 2017
Time: 9am – 1:30pm
Venue: IET, Savoy Place, London, WC2R 0BL
