Global Home Net Use Latest From Nielsen NetRatings

According to the latest figures from Neilsen NetRatings, about 379 million people around the world now have Internet access from home, and 211 of those are described as ‘active’ Internet users. These figures represent a growth rate of seven million new home users in March and ‘active’ use began growing again after February’s drop.

Yahoo remained the most visited site attracting a uniqe audience of 111,826,248 and also led the field in terms of page views whilst the two biggest online retailers, eBay and Amazon both came in at just over 22 million unique users. eBay gained a massive 1,349,813,842 page views over Amazon’s 163,980,436.
