Graham Lovelace to head up asi media tech conference team

Ahead of celebrating its 25th anniversary, international conference company asi has announced the appointment of Graham Lovelace as director of media technologies.

With more than 30 years’ experience in print, broadcast and interactive media, Lovelace is currently senior advisor at two social media start-ups – Social Asset Management (SAM) and The News Hub – and was non-executive director of social media analytics provider SecondSync, which was acquired by Twitter in 2014.

He is also co-founder of The Infographics Agency.

“asi has been the industry leader in seeking to meet the need to provide reliable and credible metrics to reflect the many ways TV (and other video) content is consumed,” said asi CEO Mike Sainsbury.

“Graham’s depth of experience in new media technological developments will play an important role in providing perspective and technological understanding for our delegates and wider community members.”

Lovelace added: “I’m no stranger to asi’s prestigious events, having chaired the technology session at the European TV Symposium for several years and worked with many of the event’s sponsors and delegates.

“It’s a great community and I’m delighted to be part of it.”
