Haymarket Magazines Forms Digital Leadership Team

Haymarket Group Logo Haymarket Magazines, the consumer publishing and website division of Haymarket Group, is forming a new digital leadership team to speed up its development as a multi-platform media company.

The leadership team’s commercial head will be Jim Murray-Jones, who joins Haymarket from Auto Trader as digital publishing director.

Murray-Jones will be joined by digital editorial director Mark Payton, digital design director Bob Silver and development team leader Andrew Johnson. They will report to Haymarket Magazines managing director Kevin Costello.

Murray-Jones is tasked with driving Haymarket Magazines’ new media strategy, a role that will include developing new and existing digital products, understanding trends in Haymarket’s markets, developing a digital strategy for each market and working with brand owners to develop cross-media business plans based on research and understanding of customer needs.

Costello said: “The formation of this talented and highly expert team is an exciting and crucial step in our development as a multi-platform media company.

“They are a team of hand-picked specialists who can speed up our ability to take advantage of the myriad of digital opportunities in our existing markets and new ones. They will play a vital part in achieving our change away from a print-centric culture.”
