Heroes Returns With 3.5m

Heroes Sci-fi smash hit Heroes returned to BBC Two last night, with a peak audience of 3.5 million adults tuning in to see how the gang will save this world this time around.

The show had a 16.5% share of the audience in its 9pm slot, although this was not enough to beat Crimewatch on BBC One at the same time, which had a peak of 5.2 million adults (a 25.1% share).

Over on ITV1 at 9pm was Britain’s Rich List, giving a run down of the country’s wealthiest people.

It picked up a peak of 2.9 million adults, a 14.1% share of the audience, and an average of 2.6 million stuck with it for its hour running time.
