Infographic: Understanding the urbanite

An urbanite is a person who lives in an urban area, works full time and is aged 18-44 years old, according to Kantar Media.

To help us understand the modern-day city dweller (sorry over-45s, you’re automatically out of this one!), Kantar has prepared an exclusive infographic revealing key insights into this demographic.

So what does the research reveal? Compared to the average country bumpkin, urbanites generally seem to be more career-driven, smartphone-dependent and like to wear nice things.

The findings, taken from the TGI study, also shed light on dining habits, keeping up-to-date on the move and overall media consumption.
