IPC Ignite Announces New Appointments

IPC Media Logo IPC Ignite group advertisement director Sam Finlay has announced the appointment of Rob Hunt to the role of Ignite Sponsorship & Brand Solutions manager.

Previously publisher of Play Rob joins the Ignite sales team responsible for generating innovative and creative advertising solutions across brands including NME, Nuts, Uncut and Loaded.

The Sponsorship & Brand solutions team is also responsible for developing client partnerships with RSVP – the creative commercial alliance between GCap Media, Viacom Brand Solutions and IPC Ignite. Hunt will report directly to Ignite Sponsorship & Brand Solutions director David Fisher.

Finlay said: “Our Sponsorship & Brand solutions team is producing some of the most arresting and creative work in magazine advertising today. Rob’s experience provides him with the perfect background to add value to what is already a powerhouse team.”

There have also been two new appointments to the Ignite New Media sales team. Barry Abbott, previously at online sales network eType, joins the team as senior sales executive. And Brian Nugent, formerly working within the digital commercial team at Channel 4, is appointed to the role of sales executive within the new media team.

Both Barry and Brian will work across the award-winning digital brands within the Ignite portfolio, including NME.COM, Nuts.co.uk ,Loaded.co.uk and Uncut.co.uk. Both appointments represent additional investment in the Ignite digital sales resource, creating a five strong team. They will report into Ignite New Media sales director Andrew Sanders.
