ITV Sales Boss Steps Down To Study Business

Graham Duff Graham Duff, managing director of ITV Sales, has announced he is to leave the company to attend a business programme in the US, after successfully creating a single ITV sales team following the merger of Carlton and Granada.

Duff will leave his post this month, taking up his new training at the Wharton Business School in America.

Commenting on Duff’s departure, Mick Desmond, chief executive of ITV Broadcasting, said: “Graham has played a hugely important role as managing director of sales for both Granada and ITV over the last four years and has been the driving force behind creating a new ITV sales culture. We wish him every success in the future.”

Duff added: “As a personal career highlight, the creation of ITV Sales is only surpassed by my tenure as CEO of Zenith Media UK. However, from both a personal and professional perspective, I feel that now is the time to leave ITV.

“My immediate priority is to attend the Advanced Management Programme at Wharton in Philadelphia. Following my return at the end of October I intend to take my time considering what to do next career-wise. I’ve got a lot of time for a lot of people at ITV and I wish them all the best.”

Current director of sales at ITV, Gary Digby, has been appointed acting head of sales while the broadcaster begins its search for Duff’s permenant replacement.
