Mirror Group Reports First ABCe Figure For March

Man Online The Mirror Group’s first reported Unique Users* figure stood at just over 4.4 million for its selection of websites for March, according to new figures from ABCe.

Users for the Telegraph‘s site surged month on month, with over 17 million now logging on to the newspaper site compared to almost 12.3 million in February, representing almost a 39% increase month on month.

Page Impressions rose 78% over the same period to around 123.8 million. The Mirror Group did not release a figure for page views.

The Daily Mail‘s users also saw a boost – up from just over 17 million to almost 18 million in March. Meanwhile, The Sun and the Times‘ sites recorded an upturn, whilst Guardian Unlimited reported a fall in Unique Users.

The Sun reported almost 14 million users for March, up from around 12.5 million the month before, whilst Times Online was up to almost 16.1 million, from almost 14.5 million month on month. Page views increased slightly month on month to almost 109.4 million.

Sun Online’s page views, bolstered by picture-heavy services on page3.com and the Sun‘s bingo and football sites, reached around 230.5 million.

User numbers for the Guardian actually dropped last month, down slightly to around 18.7 million. However, guardian.co.uk’s page views saw a slight month on month increase, rising by 1.5 million to over 173.3 million.
