More Sports Content For Sky Anytime On PC

Sky is adding new sports content from ESPN and Voom to its video-on-demand service Sky Anytime on PC.

The move will see ESPN Classic, which is already available through Sky Anytime on TV and to Sky+ and HD customers, will now be on offer through the Sky Anytime PC service.

Content from the Voom Rush HD extreme sports channel will join the ESPN content on the Sky Anytime PC service.

The new brands will join Sky Sports within the sports genre of the service.

Director of on-demand at BSkyB, Griff Parry, said that the satellite broadcaster plans to add more content brands to the service.

Sky Anytime launched on PC in January 2006 and reached its one millionth download a year later (see Sky Anytime Reaches One Million Downloads) before launching on TV in March 2007 (see Sky Launches TV On-Demand Service).
