Netflix added 2.41 million net global subscribers in Q3, the company reported in its earnings yesterday.
The growth in subscribers is led by the Asia-Pacific region (1.43 million) as opposed to relatively meager growth in the US and Canada (100,000).
Netflix also beat Wall Street expectations on revenue ($7.93bn vs. $7.84bn expected) and is forecasting a further 4.5 million net subscriber adds in Q4.
Shares of Netflix jumped over 12% on the earnings report.
