NetValue Reports ‘Silver Surfer’ Population Continues To Grow
According to NetValue the number of ‘silver surfers’ in the UK is continuing to grow with more than 2 million people in the 55+ age group regularly accessing the internet. This is 13% of the total UK home online population.
Sweden has the highest percentage of ‘silver surfers’ in Europe with the 55+ age group making up 17.4% of the online population. Denmark is second with 16.3% and the UK is third. In Spain the figure is just 3.5%
