Newsweek has appointed ad sales industry veteran Jason Webby to the post of chief revenue officer.
In the newly-created role, Webby will report directly to recently-appointed global chief commercial and growth officer Kevin Gentzel and will oversee the sales side of the business including digital, mobile, programmatic, native, connected TV, newsletters, audio, custom content, print, and event platforms and all other sales revenue streams.
Before joining Newsweek, Webby served as chief revenue officer, North America, at British publisher Future. He has also held sales positions at The Economist and CNBC.
