Nielsen//NetRatings Launches In Switzerland

Internet audience measurement company Nielsen//NetRatings has launched a survey of internet behaviour in Switzerland.

The first findings, for May 2001, reveal that average internet sessions for Swiss users lasted for 24 minutes and banner ads had an average click-through rate of 0.3. More than 3 million people had internet access in May and active users logged on for an average of five and a half hours which is three hours less than the average US surfer and the men to women ratio was 49:41.
